Enable the Electronic Filing Profile for Ireland
The username and password for the CORE portal must be entered into a Diligent Entities electronic filing profile before electronic filings can take place.
Before you start
Make sure you have an account in the CRO CORE system. Refer to Set up Electronic Filing for Ireland for more information.

Go to System Tools > List Manager > Electronic Filing Profiles.
System Tools are available to users with administrator privileges.

Find the EFIE7 - IE RegSys API Filing profile in the list and select Open
.
The Electronic Filing Profile wizard displays.

In the Profile Status section, select the Set profile as active and Set profile as default for country options. Select Next.
Leave the values in the Electronic Filing Profile section unchanged.
The Details screen of the wizard displays.

On the Details page of the wizard, enter the login name of the CRO CORE portal user account as Presenter ID and the password of the CRO CORE portal user account as Presenter PIN. Select Next.
Leave the value in the Send To field unchanged.

On the Proxy Settings page of the wizard, enter the proxy settings. Select Next.
Note
Hosted clients are not required to enter any proxy details.
Complete these settings if your organisation uses a proxy server to connect to the internet. Proxy settings are provided by your company's IT department.

Proxy Server
The profile requires access to a server that has internet access for HTTP connectivity. Ensure that port details are also entered.
User Name
Enter the proxy server username of the user that is currently signed in. To change, enter a valid username with relevant access rights on the proxy server.
Password
Enter the proxy server password of the user that is currently signed in.
Verify
Confirm the password of the proxy server user account.

On the Options page of the wizard, select the Electronic Filing Options and Diagnostics options you want to use.
You can choose from the following options:

Automatic notification of received messages
If this option is selected and the signed-in user has a contact email address entered, the system notifies the user through email of the status of forms.
Note
If the Managed By user is the same as the e-filing user, only one email is sent.
Automatically invoke Send & Receive
If selected, the system automatically performs send and receive, that is, it sends any document in Verified & Queued status to the CRO. The process also prompts CRO's system for an update on any documents that have already been sent.
Note
Hosted clients must not select this option. If automatic send and receive is required, contact the Diligent Support Team for assistance.
Clear inbox of received messages
Leave blank, not applicable.
Log all message text
If selected, the entire message sent or received is recorded in the e-filing log file.
Record all processing stages
If selected, all steps taken during the e-filing process are recorded in the e-filing log file.
Test Transmission
Leave blank, not applicable to a live profile.

Select Finish to complete the wizard.
Diligent Entities is now connected to the CRO CORE portal for electronic filing. It is possible to set up e-filing profiles specific to individual users. Refer to Set up User-Specific E-Filing Profiles for more information.

Once you have completed all the necessary steps outlined in Set up Electronic Filing for Ireland, users can start to generate and e-file forms to the CRO.
