Navigating the Compliance Maps app

The Compliance Maps app in Diligent One Platform provides a centralized view of your compliance activities. This section highlights its key interface features.

Home page

The Compliance Maps home page features the Standards and Regulations view, presented in a column-based layout that makes it easy to access compliance requirements.

On opening the Compliance Maps app, the side navigation menu features two primary sections, Standards and Regulations and Compliance Library.

Access and navigate the following functionalities from the home page:

  • Access standards, regulations, or requirements Standards and regulations, along with their associated requirements, are organized in a hierarchical structure to facilitate easier navigation. You can navigate and explore them by selecting expand or collapse icons to access more detailed information.

  • Filter by coverage statuses Find relevant requirements for the filtered regulations by browsing status categories using the tabs: Applicable, Not Covered, Covered, and Not Applicable.

  • Search Locate relevant text within the requirements’ descriptions or titles.

  • Filter Narrow down results by applying criteria based on regulations and standards.

Field Description
Add New

Create standards or regulations Select the Add New drop-down menu to:

  • Import from Compliance Library

  • Create from scratch
Export Report

Select the Export Report button to generate a report of the filtered standards or regulations, displaying the controls associated with their requirements.

Note

Currently, this option is the only way to export compliance data which is commonly used in reporting dashboards.
Sub-requirements View the total number of sub-requirements available for the standard or regulation.
Coverage View the percentage of applicable requirements that are addressed by controls.
Covered

Check if the requirements are covered.
Issues Select an issue count to instantly view a pop-up with a table summarizing issue titles and severities. Each issue related to the control testing results is summarized in a table view with hyperlinks for easy reference.
Controls

Select the link icon to view a message: This requirement is directly mapped to a control. The link icon indicates that the requirement is mapped to a control.

Note

The exact number of mapped controls is not available.
Assurance Review Assurance percentage that reflects your organization’s confidence in meeting applicable requirements. A higher value indicates greater assurance that the requirement is addressed.
Actions

The More options under Actions provides the following options:

  • Shows details View high-level information of the specific standard or regulation.

  • Duplicate Create a copy of a standard or regulation for reuse or modification.
