Entidades AI Assistant in Microsoft Teams

The Entidades AI Assistant app in Microsoft Teams lets you access key corporate information without going to Entidades. You can ask questions the same way you would when using Entidades AI Assistant in Entidades interface.

Notes

  • Entidades AI Assistant is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) feature. For information on how AI features use Entidades data, refer to Entidades AI transparency notice.

  • AI enhancements are available to clients with the Entidades Platform package and clients who joined the Entidades AI Early adopter program. For more information, contact your Customer Success Manager.

  • Administrators have access to AI features by default. For regular users, AI features are inactive by default. Before you can use them, your organization's administrator must provision the features for you.

Get started with the Entidades AI Assistant app

You can use the Entidades AI Assistant app as an individual chat or add it to a Teams channel.

Depending on your organization’s policy, your technology team may automatically add Entidades AI Assistant for you, or you may have to add it on your own.

To start using the Entidades AI Assistant app, you need a site link from your administrator.

Add Entidades AI Assistant as an individual app

Follow the steps below to add Entidades AI Assistant as an individual app.

  1. In Microsoft Teams, go to Apps > Added by your org.
  2. Enter "Diligent Entidades AI Assistant" in the search bar.
  3. On the app listing page, select Add.
  4. Select Open.
  5. Enter your organization’s site link and select Confirm.
  6. Sign in to Entidades AI Assistant to begin asking questions.

Note

For quick access to the Entidades AI Assistant app, you can pin it in Microsoft Teams. Right-click the app in the left-hand navigation bar and select Pin.

Add Entidades AI Assistant to a channel

You can add Entidades AI Assistant as a tab in a Microsoft Teams channel. Before anyone in the channel can use it, you must configure the Entidades Assistant AI app with your organization’s site link from your administrator.

You can add Entidades AI Assistant using the Apps option, or directly in the channel.

Follow the steps below to add Entidades AI Assistant to a channel.

  1. In the channel, select + in the top bar.
  2. In the search bar, enter "Entidades AI Assistant" and select the app from the list of results.
  3. Enter your organization’s site link and select Confirm.
  4. Select Save.

    Entidades AI Assistant becomes a tab in the channel. Each user must sign in to the app using their Entidades credentials or company SSO before they can use the app.

Sign in to Entidades AI Assistant in Microsoft Teams

You must sign in to Entidades AI Assistant before you can start using it in Microsoft Teams.

  1. Go to Entidades AI Assistant in the left-hand navigation bar in Teams or open the Entidades AI Assistant tab in a channel.
  2. Select Sign in.

    A login screen opens in a new window.

  3. Sign in using your Entidades credentials or your organization’s SSO.

After you sign in, you can start asking questions in the Entidades AI Assistant chat.

Using Entidades AI Assistant in Microsoft Teams

The Entidades AI Assistant app can answer the same questions as the AI Assistant in Entidades. You can access the information you are authorized to access.
