Adding a new committee

You can create new committees for your organization.

This section describes how to add a committee. You have the option to create a committee without users or to create a committee with users.

Add a new committee without users

You can create a committee, and then add users later.

  1. Select Committees in the Navigation panel.

    You'll be taken to the Committees page.

    A list of the current committees for your organization is displayed.

  2. Select Add committee on top of the screen.

    The Add new committee panel appears.

  3. Enter a description of the committee in the Descriptive name field.

  4. Enter the committee name in the Short name field.

    Note

    The committee's short name is displayed across the organization.

  5. Select Save and close.

    You'll be taken to the Committees page.

Note

You have the option to stop after this step or you can proceed with adding users to the committee.

Add a new committee with users

You have the option to add users to a committee when you create it.

  1. Follow the steps above to add a new committee.

  2. To add users to the new committee, select Add users on the Add new committee panel.

    The Add user panel appears, which displays a list of users in your organization with access to the Piattaforma Diligent One.

  3. Select the checkbox next to one or more users' names.

  4. Select Continue.

    A list of roles appears.

  5. Select the checkbox next to one or more Roles. For more information, see Roles and permissions in Boards.

  6. Select Save.

    You are taken to the committee detail page where a list of the committee members is displayed.
