Flows for Organization Administrators

To ensure an Installation is successful and the Flow is available for use by the members, Organizational administrators and Flow managers must undertake specific tasks.

You complete these tasks in the Administration view, and they must be completed in this order. After these steps have been completed, the Flow manager must complete the final steps so the installation can be used.

Step Task Responsibility Description
1 Create a Team Data room for the Flow installation Organization administrator
  • A Team Data room needs to be linked to the Flow installation.

  • When the team room is created a minimum of two Data room managers should be assigned and they act as Flow managers for the installation.

2 Add a new data room user Organization administrator
  • Anyone who will manage or administrate a Flow must be registered with a Secure File Sharing organization and have their own Personal Data room.

  • People who deliver, review, and approve documents via Flows must also be registered with a Secure File Sharing organization and have their own Personal Data room.

  • Anyone not provisioned via federated authentication must be invited manually.

3 Add a Flow installation Organization administrator
  • Flow installations are added to be used by specified users of the organization.

  • Each Flow installation is like a small add-on or app in Secure File Sharing and specifies some of the general configuration and how the business process will work.

The installation must now be configured and activated by the Flow manager.
