Enable Google Address Search in Diligent Entities
To begin using Google Address Search in Diligent Entities, it must first be enabled in System Tools.
Note
System Tools can only be accessed and configured by users with Administrator rights.
Enable Google Address Search
To enable the Google Address Search feature:
- Navigate to: System Tools > System Options > Integrations.
The Integrations Options screen displays.
Terms of Service
- Select the Review Google Terms of Service link to review the required terms.
A Google Maps Terms of Service window opens.
- Select the View the Google Terms of Service agreement link.
The Google Terms of Service opens in a new tab in your browser.
- Review the terms.
- If you do not agree to the terms, return to the Google Maps Terms of Service window and select Decline.
The window closes and the Review Google Terms of Service checkbox in Diligent Entities remains unselected.
- If you agree to the terms, return to the Google Maps Terms of Service window and select Accept.
The window closes and the Review Google Terms of Service checkbox in Diligent Entities is automatically selected.
Privacy Policy
- Select the Review Google Privacy Policy link to review the required policy.
A Google Maps Privacy Policy window opens.
- Select the View the Google Privacy Policy link.
The Google Privacy Policy opens in a new tab in your browser.
- Review the policy.
- If you do not agree to the terms outlined in the policy, return to the Google Maps Privacy Policy window and select Decline.
The window closes and the Review Google Privacy Policy checkbox in Diligent Entities remains unselected.
- If you agree to the policy, return to the Google Maps Privacy Policy window and select Accept.
The window closes and the Review Google Privacy Policy checkbox in Diligent Entities is automatically selected.
- With the Terms of Agreement reviewed and both checkboxes selected, select Finish.
The wizard closes and the Address Search feature is enabled for use.
Note
Once enabled, if either or both of the Google Terms of Agreement checkboxes are deselected (indicating that the feature should not be enabled), users will still be able to access Google Address Search until they have logged out or begin a new session.
