Google Address Search

The Google Address Search feature is an address suggestion tool, not an address verification service, that uses Google Maps data.

Note

Google Address Search is only available to hosted clients and is not enabled by default. Refer to Enable Google Address Search in Diligent Entities to enable the feature.

The Google Address Search feature assists users when entering address detail by suggesting potential matches and auto-populating relevant fields.

The Google Address Search feature is enabled on the following Address screens in Diligent Entities:

The New Shared Address Wizard

  • To access the screen, navigate to: Searches > Advanced Searches > Shared Addresses > New.

Within an Entity record: Edit or Change Address

When within an Entity record, the Edit Address or Change Address options in the Options icon.

  • To access one of the screens, navigate to: Company Details > Addresses > Options icon > Edit Address or Change Address.

Selecting one of the two options opens the related wizard screen.

Within an Entity Record: Address Wizards options

When within an Entity record, the Change Company Address or Change Location of Company Records options in the Wizards dropdown menu.

  • To access one of the screens, navigate to: Company Details > Addresses > Wizards > Change Company Address or Change Location of Company Records.
