Download Company Data from CRO CORE
It is possible to download company data from the CORE system and use it to create a new company record that is pre-populated with the data.
It is possible to download the following data from the CORE system of the Companies Registration Office (CRO) in Ireland:
- Company addresses
- Appointments
- Company details
To download the data and create a new company record:
- Go to Working Documents > Electronic Filing > For Ireland.
The Ireland Electronic Filing Wizard displays.

Select Next in the wizard.

On the Company Details page of the wizard, enter the company's CRO registration number in the Company Number field and select from the available options.
Select the Appointments option to download appointments for the company.
Select the Import after download option to create a company record in Diligent Entities.
Note
If you don't select this option, you get a comparison report. Refer to Download Data from CRO CORE and Create a Comparison Report for more information.

Select Finish to complete the wizard.
The wizard closes, the company information is downloaded from the CRO website. The downloaded document is listed as Verified and Queued on the Document Search page.

Go to Working Documents > Electronic Filing and select Send and Receive.
The EF Send and Receive wizard displays.

Select the Limit to "my EF messages only" option, then select Next.

On the EF Send and Receive page of the wizard, select Finish.
A company record is created in Diligent Entities and populated with the entity information available in the company profile in CRO CORE.
What's next?
Once all the necessary steps outlined in Set up Electronic Filing for Ireland have been completed, users can start to generate and e-file forms to the CRO.
