Generate a B77 Form to Authorise an EFA to Sign Company Forms
Generate and submit a B77 form to the Companies Registration Office (CRO) in Ireland to authorise an electronic filing agent to electronically sign documents on a company's behalf.
Before you start
Make sure you have created a record for the electronic filing agent in Diligent Entities and completed all the mandatory steps to set up e-filing for Ireland. Refer to Set up Electronic Filing Agents and Set up Electronic Filing for Ireland for more information.
To generate a B77 form for submission to the CRO:

Open the record of the authorising company.
Make sure that the company is in live mode and is configured for paper signing. For more information refer to Configure Companies for Paper or Digital Signature.
Note
ROS signature is not supported for A1 and B77 forms.

Appoint the electronic filing agent to a Registered Agent position in the company.
Select Appointments > Wizards > Appoint and complete the wizard as follows:
- Ensure that the Save as pending, then validate event option is selected on the Action page.
Note
You don't see the appointment on the Current Appointments page until the event is actioned and no longer pending.
- On the Documents page of the wizard make sure the B77 form is selected.

Go to Working Documents to view, sign, and electronically file the form to the CRO.
Note
The B77 form must be signed by either a director or a secretary of the company and it can only be signed on paper. The signature page must be sent to the CRO in paper. Refer to Request a Signature Page.

Once the form has been registered with the CRO, action the pending appointment.
In the company records, select Compliance > Pending Events to locate and action the created event.
