Remove Authorised Capital

You can remove the Authorised Capital field and column from the relevant ownership pages if it is not required.

Tip

Administrators can allow or remove authorised capital in the relevant validation by enabling the Allow authorised capital option on the Events tab. Refer to Validations to learn more.

  1. Open the company record and go to Company Details.

  2. Select Wizards > Administration > Company Options Wizard.

  3. In the Company Options wizard, go to the Validations tab.

  4. Make a note of the selected validations and unselect the Set Validations Automatically option.
  5. In the Validations field, instead of the validation that was used previously, choose the validation with the same name with (CA06) at the end.

    For example, if the previously selected validation was (GB) Public Limited Company, now select (GB) Public Limited Company (CA06).

  6. Select Finish to close the wizard.

    The Authorised Capital field is no longer visible on the relevant pages, for example, in the tables on the Share Classes page.
