Share Classes
You can create, view, edit and cancel share classes on the Share Classes page under Ownership inside the company record.
On the Share Classes page you can find information about the share classes of the company such as the name of the class, the nominal value of the class and so on. You can also find the capital and the voting weightings which are automatically calculated by the system based on the number of issued shares and the number of votes in the case of voting weighting or the number of issued shares and the nominal value in the case of capital weighting.
By default, capital and shares are both listed on the page. Use the Show and For fields to list the capital or the shares only and to see a specific capital or share class only. Use the Show cancelled classes option to display the cancelled share classes in the list.
Use the options at the top to create a new share class, to view the share class history or to export the list of share classes. Select Options 
against a share class in the list to see the available options.

Adjust Issued Shares |
Use this option to increase or decrease the total amount of shares in the share class. |

Voting and Weighting |
With this option, you can change the voting and weighting details for the share class. |

Share Class Rights |
Use this option to change the rights related to the share class. |

Cancel Share Class |
With this option, you can cancel the share class that you no longer need. Refer to Cancel a Share Class to learn more. |

Share Class Options |
Use this option to view and change the details of the share class, such as the share class code, whether the share class is partly paid and so on. On the Numbering page of the Share Class Options wizard you can do the following:

Share Class Extra Details |
With this option, you can record the total premium amount for the share class. Refer to Record Total Premium Amount for a Share Class for more information. |

Clone Share Class |
Use this option to create a share class based on an existing one. |

Subdivision/Consolidation |
With this option, you can subdivide or consolidate shares in the share class. Refer to Subdivide Shares and Consolidate Shares to learn more. |

Redesignation |
Use this option to redesignate shares in the share class. Refer to Redesignate Shares to learn more. |
|
Redenomination |
With this option, you can redenominate shares in the share class. Refer to Redenominate Shares to learn more. |

Bonus Issue |
Use this option to issue bonus shares for the share class. Refer to Record Bonus Issue Shares to learn more. |

Call on Shares |
With this option, you can make calls for payments on partly paid shares. Refer to Make Payments on Partly Paid Shares to learn more. |
