Adding an issue
Any Diligent One user can add an issue.
Caution
Do not share confidential information, such as Protected Health Information
(PHI), Personally Identifiable information (PII), or other personal or organization protected information, in an issue. A submitted issue cannot be changed.

From the Platform home page (www.diligentoneplatform.com), select the Issue Manager app to open it.
If you are already in Diligent One, you can use the left-hand navigation menu to switch to the Issue Manager app.
- Select Add Issue and enter the following details:

Provide a short and clear summary of the issue. This one-line title helps users quickly identify the issue in lists and notifications. Note Issue title cannot be edited later. |

| Issue subtype |
A subtype is a customizable classification linked to a parent issue type, used to provide more detailed categorization for clearer tracking, assignment, and reporting of issues. Note Subtypes cannot exist independently. Although it can be created, edited, or deleted, a parent type is mandatory. It is subject to restrictions such as requiring a parent type and retaining assigned managers. |

Displays the impact level of the issue. Available severity levels include: |

| Due date | Indicates the deadline for resolving the issue. You can apply a date filter to view issues due within a specific time range. This field also adheres to the system’s configured time zone. | Reporters and Type managers or Issue manager. |
| Issue owner | Select the user assigned by the parent type or type. If you assign yourself, you become the Issue manager. | Reporters and Type managers or Issue manager. |
| Related org unit | Specify the individuals, teams, applications, or systems affected by the issue. Use keywords or identifiers to filter and select related org unit. | Reporters and Type managers or Issue manager. |

When an issue is submitted, a unique Issue ID is automatically generated. Issue Manager sends you an email confirming that your issue has been successfully submitted. The newly submitted issue is added to the issue list.
