Shared dashboards
Shared Dashboards in Diligent Entities allows you to add quick reports or custom links and create tailored content that you can share for viewing with other users.
Add a quick report to a shared dashboard
You can add a quick report to a shared dashboard in several ways:
Add a quick report to a shared dashboard
You can add a Quick Reports in a table or a chart format to a Shared Dashboard and save it as a Shared Favourite during configuration.

Open the relevant quick report.

Select which format you would like to use for the quick report by selecting either the table or the chart icon on the Results page.

Next, select Actions, then select Save as new Shared Table.

In the dialogue that displays, enter a name for the saved quick report that will display on the shared dashboard. Then, in the Dashboard visibility section, select the required Shared Dashboard by user group.
Note
You can select as many shared dashboards for user groups as needed.

When finished, select Done.
A Saved confirmation message displays. The quick report now displays in the selected shared dashboards and is saved to shared favourites.
Add a quick report or custom link from shared favourites
You can also add a quick report or custom link to Shared Boards if the relevant item is already saved as a Shared favourites.
Custom links provide access to selected records or sites. Creating a custom link is the same as creating a standard Quick Link.
To add these items from shared favourites:

Navigate to Admin Hub > Manage Shared Favourites and locate the relevant item.

Select the Options icon against the relevant item, then select Update. The Update existing Shared Table dialogue displays.

In the dialogue that displays, enter a name for the saved quick report that will display on the shared dashboard. Then, in the Dashboard visibility section, select the required Shared Dashboard by user group.
Note
You can select as many shared dashboards as needed.

When finished, select Done.
A Saved confirmation message displays. The quick report or custom link is now saved to shared favourites and displays in the Quick Reports tile.
Add a quick report or custom link from the selected shared dashboard
You can also add shared favourites directly from the selected shared dashboard.
Add a quick report

Navigate to the required Shared Dashboard.

Select the Options icon in the relevant tile and, depending on your selection, either the Add Charts from Shared Favourites or Add Table from Shared Favourites dialogue displays.

Select the checkbox against the relevant quick report to add.
Note
You can select as many quick reports for the shared dashboard as needed.
- When finished, select Done. The selected quick report displays in the relevant tile.
Add a custom link

Select the Options icon in the relevant tile. The Edit Custom Links dialogue displays.

Select Add Custom Link. The Add Custom Link page displays.

Enter the name and URL for the link being created in the relevant fields.

When finished, select Done. The new custom link is listed on the Custom Links tile.
Note
To add additional custom links to the selected shared dashboard, repeat the above steps.
If you select the Options icon again, the new custom link is also listed in the Edit Custom Links dialogue, and the related checkbox for the new custom link is automatically selected.
Remove content from a shared dashboard
To remove a quick report or custom link from a shared dashboard:

Navigate to Admin Hub > Manage Shared Favourites and locate the required item.

Select the Options menu icon against the relevant item, then select Delete.

A confirmation dialogue displays asking you to confirm the deletion of the item from shared favourites. Select "Yes" to proceed.
The quick report or custom link is now removed and no longer displays on the selected shared dashboard.
Note
To hide a quick report or custom link from the shared dashboard instead of removing it, select the Options icon in the relevant tile and clear the checkbox against the required item.
