About the Organizational Administrator role

The Organizational Administrator is a licensed user of Secure File Sharing, responsible for managing users and user groups, creating team data rooms, and assigning security policies at organization level. They can configure external identity providers for the organization and, if available, add Flow installations for workflows.

Note

Administrator may create users and team rooms but they do not have access to the data in those rooms unless it has been shared with them or they are a member of the team data room.

Access the Administration portal

  1. Go to the navigation panel and select Administration.

    The Administration portal opens.

    Tip

    To return to your own data room and files, select the My data room at the top of the navigation panel.

Your administrative controls are organized in the following tabs. Select the more options menu to display additional actions you can take for a user, team room or flow group.

Users

Add, view and manage users, their status, and the roles they have been assigned.

There are three types of non-administrative users:

  1. Licensed personal data room members of the organization.

  2. Licensed team members of the organization.

  3. External collaboration members.
