Scenario Mode

Use Scenario mode in Group Structure Visualization to assess the impact of your organization's future decisions directly within the tool, eliminating the need to export charts for external manipulation. You can evaluate strategies, tactics, and decisions by simulating various scenarios to understand how different relationships influence outcomes.

Model different scenarios in Scenario mode without altering the live data held in Diligent Entities.​

Note

  • The Scenario mode option is only available to clients with a Professional or Enterprise package. Contact your Customer Success Manager to learn more.
  • Options for creating, editing, and moving entities within the structures will depend on the type of structure used and where you start within that structure.

Here are some examples of how you can use scenario modeling to plan.

  • Mergers and acquisitions: plan how and where new entities will be integrated into an existing corporate structure.​

  • Spinoffs and demergers: plan how entities will be spun out of the structure, including any pre-spin-off preparation to package the exiting entities.​

  • Restructure and reorganisation: add, move, and remove entities whether for the purposes of tax efficiency or to improve the entity and governance structure of the organisation.
