Add an Entity in Scenario Mode
In Scenario mode, you can add a new external owner or a new child entity to the group

The Scenario mode option is available to clients with a Professional or Enterprise package. Contact your Customer Success Manager to learn more.

Run a group structure and select Visualisation.
Refer to Run a group structure to learn more about this feature.

Select the Scenarios icon from your toolbar.

Select Ok in the Open scenario mode dialog.
A yellow banner displays on top of the Entities page to indicate that you are in scenario mode.
Note
Selecting the X in the banner will close Scenario mode.

Select the entity you want to add a relationship to.
There are three ways you can do this:
1. Select the entity on the Groups Structure chart.
2. Enter the name in the Select an entity field in the side panel on the right.
3. Select an entity name from the list that appears when Select an entity is selected.

Select Choose an action > Add from the menu.

Fill out the fields of the Company attributes.
Entity name is a required attribute, the other attributes are optional and can be edited later.
- Select the Entity options. The Entity Type will default to Company.
When you run the group structure, the structure type you select in the Show field influences the options presented here.
- In Structure below and Structure above and below charts new entities can be added above as an (external) "parent" entity or below as a "child" entity (the default choice).
- In Structure above charts new entities can only be added as "parent".
- Select Apply. Review your choices in the Add dialog and select Save.
What's next?
If you added the entity as an external owner, you can use the Move option to integrate it into the chart.
You can export your scenario in a number of formats.
- Select the Export icon in your toolbar and choose your preferred format.
- Follow the instructions.
