Option
Description
Portrait page orientation
This option is only available in export for printing.
By default, the export uses landscape orientation. If you select this option, the charts are exported in portrait orientation.
Add cover and index pages
This option adds the following pages to the export:
-
A cover page with a table of contents
-
An interactive index page with a list of entities and page numbers.
When you select the page number in the exported file, you are taken to the entity on that page.
Omit main chart name from sub-chart index entries
This option is only available if you select Add cover and index pages.
If you create an export with only sub-charts and omit the main chart from the file, you can customize index entries on the cover page.
- Select this option to only include child entity names in all index entries.
- Deselect this option to include the parent entity’s name next to the child entity in each index entry.
Include legend
This option adds a legend to the export.
The legend includes the conditional formatting rules that apply to the given chart. For example, if a conditional formatting rule does not apply to any of the entities on a sub-chart, the legend does not display the rule.
Complete legend for all sub-charts
Use this option in combination with Include legend to display all the legend entries defined for the sub-chart included in the exported file.
Add confidential watermark
This option adds the "Confidential" watermark to the output.
Fully expand structure
By default, the group structure is exported with the same display settings as the original chart.
This option displays the fully expanded group structure in the output even when it is not fully expanded on the screen.
Highlight selected entity
This option adds a highlight to an entity you select in Group Visualization. The highlight also shows the entity's relationships.
Use optimal grid layout This option distributes the entities in the chart across pages to avoid splitting the nodes.
Use margins This option adds dashed-line margins to each page, creating overlap for assembling charts without losing any data. Each margin displays the number of the page to connect to.
Note
When used in combination with Use optimal grid layout, the dashed-line margin does not cross any entity box. Some entities are partially repeated in the margins to prevent data loss when you combine the pages.
