Quick Reports: Favourites

Quick Reports searches can be saved as Favourites to allow you to easily access at a later point data that has been previously configured in a quick report.

To access the data of a previous search saved as a favourite, select the My Favourites Favourite_icon option in the Navigation Bar.

Next, the My Favourites dropdown menu opens with a list of all the previously saved Quick Reports searches. The saved search titles also include a table or a chart icon to indicate whether the Quick Reports search was saved in table or chart view.

Save a Quick Reports search as Favourite

To save a Quick Reports search as a favourite:

  1. Configure a Quick Reports search. To learn more, refer to Quick Reports.

  2. After you have created the report, select and expand the Actions button, then choose one of the save options from the dropdown menu.

    Here, you can save Quick Reports searches as tables and charts. You can also choose between making it visible to you only or share it with others.

  3. In the Save as dialogue enter a name for the chart or table and select the Add to My Dashboard option if you want to add the chart or table to your own Dashboard. Alternatively, select the Dashboards to which you want to add the report.

    Note

    If you do not select the Add to Dashboard option, the Quick Reports search will be saved to My Favourites only.

  4. Select Save. The Quick Reports search is added to the list of My Favourites and also to the Dashboard, if that option was selected.

Edit a Favourite

You can always go back to a favourite to change it. To change the name of a favourite or add it to the Dashboard from the list of My Favourites, select the Menu Menu_icon next to the title of the relevant favourite, then select Update from the list of options.

To change other details of a favourite, open it and make the relevant changes. When finished, select and expand the Actions button and select Update Existing

Note

In case you also switch the view between table and chart, you will need to save the report as a new favourite.

Delete a Favourite

You can delete any Quick Reports searches saved as favourites if you no longer need them. To do so, in the My Favourites list of saved searches, select Delete from the menu of options next to the title of the relevant favourite. Confirm the deletion when prompted. The item is removed from the list of My Favourites and from the Dashboard, if added previously.
