Save and Share Settings
With the Save and Share Settings option you can save the settings you set up for the group structure chart to later continue where you left off and also share these settings with others on your team.
Note
The Save and Share Settings option is available to clients with a Professional or Enterprise package. Contact your Customer Success Manager to learn more.
You can save the following settings:
- Filters you applied to the chart
- Groupings you set up
- Sorting you applied to the chart
- Attributes you defined to display in entity boxes
- Ownership options you set up
- Sub-charting rules you defined
- Sub-charting settings you created
- Conditional formatting rules you added
- Chart text you added

Select Save and Share Settings
in the top right toolbar.
The Save and Share Settings panel displays on the right.

On the Saved Settings tab, enter a name for the settings in the field that displays.
By default, it contains Settings.
- Select Save.
A notification message displays saying the settings were saved and the saved setting is added to and displays in the list of Saved Settings.
If the name you enter matches the name of a saved setting, a warning displays and asks if you want to overwrite the existing settings.

Several options are available for the saved settings.
Option | Description |

Load |
Use this option to apply the settings to the current chart. Note If you load settings that you created for a different chart, some of the settings might not be applicable so they are skipped. |
Clone |
Clone a saved setting to create a new set of settings based on the existing one. |
Rename |
Use this option to change the name of a saved setting. |
Share |
With this option, you can share any saved settings with other users. When you select the Share option, you can enter a different name for the setting before you share it. The name must be unique across all shared settings. Once you have shared a setting, a notation displays below the shared setting in the list including the date when the setting was shared. Other users can view your shared settings on the Shared Settings tab. Settings that are visible on the Shared Settings tab display the name of the user who shared the rule set. Settings you shared are visible to you on the Saved Settings tab. Note When you change and save any settings that have been shared, the settings update for other users as well provided that the name of the setting remains the same. You can only load settings shared by others. You can load shared settings, save them as your own and build on the settings. In this case, you can only save any changes you make to your own copy of the settings. |
Revoke |
Use this option to stop sharing a saved setting with others. |
Remove |
Use this option to delete settings if they are no longer required. Note If you remove a saved setting you shared with others, you also remove it from the list of shared settings for other users. |
